Grades 6-12: YDisciple
Starting Wednesday, October 6th, 6:30-8pm
We will be offering studies on a number of different topics this year, and when we complete one, will let the youth help decide what study we’re going through next. These nights will be an awesome opportunity to form solid friendships with like-minded peers, strengthen a sense of belonging through a strong emphasis on building lasting relationships in a welcoming community, and deepening their knowledge of the Catholic faith and their relationship with Jesus. After the teaching portion of the night, they’ll process through how it applies to their life with their adult mentor, in small groups of 6-8 peers. Solid catechetical content will be provided by YDisciple, a youth discipleship platform powered by NET Ministries.
*Youth who have an established small group will also have the option of taking their group to the next level… doing extra things with their adult mentor (social activities, service projects, etc.), choosing a different meeting time/location/topic, and getting parents more involved in having a prominent role of helping host their child’s YDisciple group.
